United States: OPEC’s monthly report is due to be released at 11:20 GMT.

 

Tuesday

 

Asia: China’s fixed asset investment and industrial for April are expected to be published as of 02:00 GMT, with 7.4 percent and 6.3 percent readings seen respectively. Japan’s Q1 GDP will be released at 23:50 GMT.

 

Europe: Germany’s first-quarter gross domestic product is scheduled at 06:00 GMT, followed by UK’s average earnings, claimant count change and unemployment rate at 08:30 GMT. Half an hour later, focus will be turn back to Germany, with ZEW economic sentiment for May eyed. In the Eurozone, Q1 GDP and industrial production figures for March will be out at 09:00 GMT.

 

United States: retail sales for April and the NY Empire State manufacturing index for May are up at 12:30 GMT, followed by business inventories for March at 14:00 GMT. TIC net long-term transactions for March will be available at 20:00 GMT.

 

Wednesday

 

Asia: Japanese industrial production figures for March are next at 04:30 GMT.

 

Europe: Germany’s consumer price index for April is up at 06:00 GMT, followed by the Eurozone’s measure of it at 09:00 GMT.

 

United States: building permits and housing starts for April are coming at 12:30 GMT. Industrial production numbers for April will become available at 13:15 GMT.

 

Thursday

 

Asia: Japan’s core CPI for April will be out at 23:30 GMT.

 

Europe: EU’s Trade Balance for March will be released at 09:00 GMT.

 

United States: Philly Fed manufacturing index for May is scheduled at 12:30 GMT.

 

Friday

 

Europe: Germany’s PPI for April is expected at 06:00 GMT.
